Two people are dead in southern Bolivia where the military has been called up to help local firefighters fight a three-day blaze in the mountains around the city of Tarija. Local media reported 12,000 hectares have now been lost with a state of emergency being declared in Tarija.
Food and water donations have begun arriving from across the country. At least 700 residents have been evacuated. Authorities said a total of 20,000 volunteers - here seen leaving for the day - are actively helping to put out the fire with more troops arriving on Sunday morning.
