People's Parliament: Raising The Education Issues And Green Land Project

People's Parliament continued its fifth regular meeting on Friday, raising the education issues in terms of upgrading the schools and appointing the teachers. Plans are underway to appoint the qualified teachers in 2017-2018 academic year for necessary areas aiming to upgrade the education sector, Union Minister for Ministry of Education said on the MPs questions. At present, there are over 370,000 teachers appointed and over 8.9 million of students across the country. Meanwhile, at the session, parliament decided to discuss about  the Green Land projects which is urged the Union Government to implement quickly in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and Pyin Oo Lwin as well as in other areas.
