World Letwhei Championship: Biggest Int'l. Lethwei Competition In Myanmar

World Letwhei Championship (WLC) is set to take place on March 3rd at event zone of the Mingalardon Graden City in Yangon.
Lethwei is the Myanmar Traditional bare-knuckled boxing.
This is the biggest international lethwei competition ever held in Myanmar.
Organizer, World Lethwei Championship, Zay Thiha: This is the Myanmar traditional boxing match and it has been modified and will be organized under the title ‘World Lethwei Championship’. This is the first step for WLC to penetrate the world.
20 professional boxers from Myanmar,Malaysia, Cambodia, Australia and England will compete in the match.
Boxer, Myanmar, Tun Tun Min: It was a shock what happened at the recent competition. So, I have it healed well and have prepared for the coming fight.
Boxer, England, Nicholas Carter: “For a lot in Thailand and in all of Asia, my training is hard, Training is strong. But, for this fight, it’s extra hard and extra strong so I’ll be ready.”
The organizer added that the similar competitions will be held for 9 times this year.
