Business Meeting: Development Partners Group To Be Formed

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi met with the entrepreneurs and development partners at MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday. The State Counsellor gave an opening speech saying that plans are underway to form an organization comprised of all development partners and donors who wish to provide for the progress of the country. The organization will be a platform for negotiations and planning among them. The State Counsellor will chair the Committee, and Union Minister for Planning and Finance will be the Vice-Chairman. Union Minister U Kyaw Win later explained the future plans of Myanma Economic Policy and implementation for investment plans. 158 businessmen who paid the most income tax are invited to the meeting.
