Chin Lone Championship: To Emerge Talented Young Players

39th Regions and States Traditional Chin Lone Championship kicked off at the Aung San Indoor Stadium, Saturday, aiming to turn out talented young players.11 teams from Regions and States participate in the competition.

President , Myanmar Chin Lone Federation, Soe Naing: We are aiming to discover talented young players from this kind of competition to maintain our traditional chin lone sport. We provide accommodation and food for all contesting teams. And we will also present cash prize to all teams and the total amount will be 9.8 million kyats.

Over 300 players are participating in the competition. The events are 6 strokes for men and 4 strokes for women.

Player, Mandalay Region Team, Nay Thu Aung: We have been camped since September 13th to 27th. Now we are ready to compete. We will also try with our best.

Player, Taninthayi Region Team, Phyo Htut: We took 27 days for camp. This is the first time our team participating in this kind of competition. Some of the players have experienced before and we will try with our best. 

39th Regions and States Traditional Chin Lone Championship will run until October 4th.
