Drug Seizure: 1.8 Million Yaba Pills Seized In Yathedaung

Border guard police in Rakhine State found 1.8 million yaba pills hidden in the bushes in Yathedaung on Wednesday, according to police. The illegal drugs worth more than 3.6 billion kyats were discovered during a patrol which was conducted after receiving information from the people who had descended from the Mt. Mayyu in Yathedaung on Tuesday evening. The drugs were found in nine bags hidden near Aungthaya Village at the foot of the mountain. Police are continuing their investigation.
