Fierce Fight Victory: Aung La N Sang Won Match In One Championship Fight

Yangon was action packed Friday night as the world’s fiercest fighters, including Myanmar’s very own Aung La N Sang, battled and wrestled for a presitigious One Championship title. 

MMA fighter Kachin ethnic Aung La N Sang is back to his 2nd homecoming fight against Polish opponent Michal Pasternak in One Championship; State of Warriors.

The fight of Aung La N Sang and Michal Pasternak was tough and intense in front of home crowd until the third round. But Aung La could show his best performance and won over his opponent with a unanimous decision. 

Like the main fight, Yangon Featherweight tournament of local MMA fighter Phoe Thaw was also one the most interesting fights. He won his opponent Kat Pali in 22 second of the 1st round in the semi final and beat Saw Yan Paing in 3 minutes and 33 seconds of the 1st round in the final.  Finally, Phoe Thaw became Champion of Featherweight in this his 4th MMA fight.

Champion , Yangon Featherweight Tournament , Phoe Thaw: ..I tried my best. But there are still weaknesses in my fight, I know it. But I’m really glad that I won and gained achievement. I knew it the final match would be tougher than semi final as everyone would try their best to win. I’m thankful to the audience who support me; as I wouldn’t win without their support. 

Another main fight is between Japanese fighter Yoshitaka Naito and his Philippine counterpart Joshua Pacio in Strawweight class world championship. 

In the strawweight world championship, Yoshitaka Naito defended his title by winning over Joshua Pacio in the 3rd round.

Audience, Htun Aung Hlaing: I enjoyed every fight especially Phoe Thaw’s fight and Aung La N Sang’s, too. They were very good fights. I like every fight but I preferred Aung La N Sang’s among all of them. However, all fights were really cool.

Audience, Phyo Maung Maung: I also enjoyed all fights. My favorite fights are Aung La N Sang’s and Strawweight world championship. I think it’s really good because this kind of MMA fight is being held in Myanmar. I’d like to request for more MMA fights here.
