At least 5 killed in massive expressway blast near central China city

At least five people have died and twenty others left injured after a tanker truck exploded on a highway in central China's Hunan Province on Saturday evening. The truck suspected to be loaded with flammable and combustible materials exploded at 20:40 on a section of the highway linking Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao in Yueyang City. The accident has triggered rear-end collisions involving some six vehicles. Traffic control measures have been imposed on the affected highway section. The local fire department has dispatched firefighters to help clear up the blast scene.
