Love Story: Film On “From Bangkok To Mandalay”

A press show on the film “From Bangkok to Mandalay” was launched free at the Thamada Cinema Hall in Yangon, Thursday.   

The film is a co-production by Magenta Media of Thailand and Moe Kaung Kin Video Production of Myanmar. It is starred by local famous celebrities Nay Toe, Sai Sai Kham Hlaing, Wut Hmon Shwe Yi as well as Thai actress Nan Whan play.

The film was directed by Chartchai Ketknust from Thailand and it is about the romantic story on letters that were kept unopened and unread for over 50 years.

Manager , Tamada Cinema Hall, Thet Hlaing Soe : We are proud of screening this kind of movie to the audience. Most of the movies producing now are the funny ones. I believe this movie will give full of great feelings to the film lovers.

The audience said they can enjoy the full essence of Myanmar and Thailand culture in the movie. 

Audience , Myat Khaing : In the movie, we can see the scene of prominent pagodas in Myanmar. I am very proud to have a chance to show our golden land of Myanmar to others. I’d like to say thanks to the director who created this film.  

This movie will be in the theaters around Myanmar starting November and in Thailand, it will be screened one or two weeks after the screening in Myanmar.
