Microsoft opens Transparency Center in Brazil

Microsoft opened a Transparency Center in Brasilia to help guard its products against cyberattacks. Microsoft officials and Brazilian officials were on hand for the ceremony. Microsoft has opened similar outpost in other parts of the world including Europe and Asia. The first opened in the United States two years ago. The center will work in partnership with the Brazilian government's federal security program. The Transparency Center initiative is part of Microsoft's Government Security Program (GSP) which includes nearly 40 countries.
