Mobile APP Training: Support For Digital Technology

Mobile Application Training was conducted to IT students of University of Computer studies across the country. 

The training has been organized by Samsung Tech Institute since 2013. 

The program aims to support the students in studying mobile and digital technology as well as IT and related industries.

PR & Citizenship Manager, Samsung Electronics, Myanmar Branch, Soe Thura : This training can be helpful for ICT students after they finished the program.  We hope to contribute to the development of skilled workforce in the growing ICT sector. Mobile penetration is growing and if we want to develop ICT sector, we need to nurture young developers. 

150 senior students joined the two-month training at Yangon and Mandalay respectively. After a month period, 30 students will be selected based on their creativeness, presentation skills, teamwork, talents, proficiency and understanding on android platform. They will be teamed up with 10 groups for the grand final competition of Android Mobile Apps.

Student, Lin Lin Tun: I am really interested the ICT sector so I try my best to participate in the Android Mobile Apps competition. This is the good opportunity for us. I want this kind of training to open more and more for the ICT students.  I want to create the most beneficial apps for the people.

A total of 5700 USD will be awarded with 2400 USD for 1st prize winner, 1800 USD for 2nd prize and 1500 USD for 3rd prize.
