Myanmar Idol: Audition For Season-2 To Start Next Month

Audition for Myanmar Idol Season (2) will be held in five major cities starting next month. 

Aiming to give more chance for enthusiasts across the country, mobile casting will also be taken in 15 adjacent cities near the major cities. 

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, MNTV, SAI ZOM PHA: As we did audition at five major cities last year, most contestants beside these cities didn’t have a chance to participate. So this year, as a special program, we will make Pre-casting, Pass audition and then Judge audition and select the outstandings from other 15 small towns.

JUDGE, TIN ZAR MAW: I believe the best winner with perfect skill will come out in this season as well. This is a good chance for all Myanmar nationals. I am also excited to see the expert musicians.  

The applications forms can be available starting from 25th this month without any fee, and auditions will be held and select the outstanding contestants in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalaly, Taunggyi, Hpa-an, and Yangon.

President (FTA), Shwe Than Lwin Media Co., Ltd, Nan Mouk Laung Saing: We welcome all enthusiasts to participate and compete in this Myanmar Idol season (2). This will be a good program for them and I believe they can have many lessons and experiences to keep going on their way. We have planned to give surprised awards to the winner of this season.

The winner will be awarded 20 million kyats and has a chance to produce a solo album.
