Nay Pyi Taw Thingyan: Crowded With Merry Makers

In Nay Pyi Taw, the pandal of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) Office was crowded with Thingyan revelers who enjoyed water throwing and entertainment programs of the artistes. Vice President U Myint Swe visited the pandal in the morning of the second Akyat Day, and presented honorary cash to the entertainment troupes.

 Pandals in the Hotel Zone and Nay Pyi Taw-Taung Nyo road as well as the small pandals in the wards of Nay Pyi Taw Council area are also thronged with the merry makers. Famous artistes and vocalists also entertained the audience with songs and dances. In the afternoon, people took relaxation at the Safari, Hlay Khwin Hill, Zoological Garden, National Landmark Garden and the Water Fountain.
