Two armed men robbed a Chopard jewelry store in Paris before fleeing on foot, a spokesman for the police union Alliance said 1st March. The value of the stolen jewels remains unknown. Alliance police union representative Jean-Michel Huguet said, "The first individual went into the store and showed the employees a weapon to get them to open the security door so that a second individual, armed with a grenade, which he shows the employees, could go in and steal all the jewelry, without hurting anyone. They fled on foot. We don't know yet which direction they went, but they did flee on foot."
