Programming Contest: Turning Out Outstanding Generation For ICT Sector

Myanmar will host Asian-Yangon Regional Programming Contest for the first time.

University for Computer Studies Yangon will organize the event with the support of technical assistance by the Association for Computing Machinery - International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC) based at Baylor University in the United States. The contest will be held on December 8 and 9.

It aims to give a chance for Myanmar students to get an opportunity to participate in international programming contest, to exchange views with students from the Asia-Pacific and Indochina Peninsula Region and to turn out outstanding generation for ICT sector.

National level contest was held in June with the participation of 195 students from 65 teams. 38 teams have been selected for the Regional Contest to compete with 23 international teams. 

The winning teams from the regional contest will have a chance to compete in the World Final contest in May next year.
