Rice Offering: 10,000 Nuns From Various Regions Attends The Ceremony

Rice offering ceremony to 10,000 nuns from the respective regions was held at Chan Myaye Gong Wai nunnery, Insein Township , Sunday.

This is the very first time rice offering, organized by Chan Myae Gong Wai Nunnery. Many donors and the concerned departments contributed the donation.

Chan Myae Gong Wai Nunnery,Daw May Dha Nyani: The main purpose of this ceremony is to know the role of nuns in flourishing of Buddha Sasana for the country. For this donation, we invited 10,000 nuns from various regions. Many donors including Htoo Foundation group and donors from other departments participated in the donation. 

Dy. Managing Director, Htoo Group of Companies, Aung Lin Oo: We donated about 300 million kyats to the nunnery for the donation. We are very satisfied to make this kind of donation.

10000 nuns from Ayeyawady, Bago, Sagaing and many other regions attended the ceremony.
