Safer Yangon: Police Launch Mobile Campaign
The police force has leveled up their efforts in promoting public awareness on reducing crime rate and encouraging community policing.
Yangon Region Police Force is doing this program in cooperation with Anti-human Trafficking Police Force, Tourist Security Police Force and Myanmar Traffic Police to provide easy access to crime education and keep in touch with the public.
Police Major , Yangon Region Police Force, Hla Wai: By showing crime education on a mobile vehicle on, the people can easily learn, as well as watch our police staff entertainment show to the audience. We are trying to implement community policing to give more service to the public. We have planned to go around the townships and wards in order to effectively implement our educative program.
Myanmar Traffic Police also participated in the program intending to give knowledge on preventing and reducing traffic accident to the public.
Deputy Police Major , No-41 Traffic Police Unit (Kyauktada TSP) , Soe Min Htun : Previously, we had an educative talk show programs in the hall in some townships but people cannot spend their time so we participate in mobile vehicle. We showed cartoons, poster and traffic accidents photos in this mobile vehicle and hope people will gain knowledge and have a chance to know more traffic awareness.
The program appears to have been received well by the public.

Yangon Region Police Force is scheduled to go around 44 townships of Yangon Region area mainly in schools and Universities as well as crowded places.
