Trophy Tour: UEFA Champions League Trophy In Yangon

The UEFA Champions League Trophy will arrive for the first time to Myanmar along with its global ambassador, former UEFA Champions League and Arsenal player Fredrik Ljungberg from March 20th to 26th. 

The 2016 Trophy Tour kicked off in the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. It is now on the way to Asian cities and Yangon is the next destination after Vientiane in Laos.

Managing Director, APB Alliance Brewery Company Limited, Lester Tan: “It's a good opportunity to also bring the trophy here to the country. I think for the Myanmar football fans, it's a very unique opportunity. They don't need to drink. It's an opportunity this year trophy and this year, very football, famous football player… So just come down and support and have a look, play some of the games that are available for the public events. And just have the good time.” 

Trophy events and meet-ups with Fredrik Ljungberg are lined up throughout the week. Fans can also get a first look at the Trophy on March 20th by taking part in a street parade from the Myanmar Football Federation’s office through downtown Yangon , ending at Sedona Hotel.
