Weather Forecast : Summer Will Be Extremely Hot In 2016

The weather can be hotter than before, during the period of January to June in 2016, according to the meteorologist U Tun Lwin.The effect is caused due to the El Nino which is characterized by warming on the water surface of Pacific Ocean. It occurs a year round and the month December is the peak of its impacts. The effects of El Nino will impact from January to June in 2016 in Myanmar during summer and pre-and- monsoon seasons.

Meteorologist ,Tun Lwin : "The summer will be extremely hot and the monsoon will be late in year of 2016. It can especially impact on agriculture and health. We faced the similar weather condition in 2011 and many people dead in central region of the country at that time because of heat stroke. So, I'm worried to face again like that kind of same situation".

Myanmar had a record of  the highest temperature 42.7 degree Celsius in history.
