World's largest nuclear security demonstration center put into operation in Beijing

The world's largest nuclear security demonstration center was put into operation in Beijing on Friday. China and the United States jointly constructed the center, which covers an area of 5.3 hectares and has the world's most advanced research and development capabilities. It will provide technical and personnel support to preventing terrorist attacks on nuclear facilities including nuclear power stations and preventing thefts of nuclear materials. It is able to carry out analysis and assessment of nuclear materials, technical test of nuclear security facilities, and trainings of nuclear security personnel.
