Clinton slams Trump on taxes

US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton slammed her Republican opponent Donald Trump on his tax record on Monday in Toledo of Ohio, pegging him as a tax evader who stiffed average Americans following news that Donald Trump's claimed a 916 million USD loss on his 1995 income tax returns. DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE, HILLARY CLINTON <<< "It doesn't look like he paid a dime of federal income tax for almost two decades now while millions of American families including mine and yours were working hard paying our fair share it seems he was contributing nothing to our nation. Imagine that". "He was using his political connections to collect hundreds of millions of dollars in government subsidies and extra tax breaks for his companies in other words, Trump was taking from America with both hands and leaving the rest of us with the bill."

With just five weeks to go before the November 8 election, results from a nationwide poll by Politico and Morning Consult has Clinton surging, with 42 percent support from likely voters compared to 36 percent for Trump.
