Entrepreneurship White Paper: Key Factors For Economic Development To Be Launched

The first ever "State of Myanmar Entrepreneurship White Paper" will be published at Myanmar Entrepreneurship Summit that will be held in Nay Pyi Taw next week.  

The White Paper includes key factors for economic development in Myanmar, and it was conducted by Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA).

The association said it took about 9 month, meeting with 265 business organizations across 7 regions and states, in order to highlight the challenges, potential and weakness that entrepreneurs, especially young entrepreneurs faced in the industry. 

President, Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association,  Wai Phyo : According to white paper, currently services sector, like tourism, education and local food productions have high potential to start a new business as it doesn't require higher budgets. There are many challenges remain to issue. We want a successful dialogue with the government officials to cooperate and discuss for the future economic growth.

The Association said they also plan to open trainings for start-up entrepreneurs in Yangon, Mandalay, Taunggyi and Magwe. 

President , Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association,  Wai Phyo : We have plan to conduct the training for those who would like to start their own business but didn't know how. We will teach them how to plan for their business, how to start it, run it and how to find the investors for their business. Because we need business development, especially all inclusive development in every regions and states across Myanmar. 

The 1st Myanmar Entrepreneurship summit 2016 will conduct at MICC II in Nay Pyi Taw on October 22nd. Along with the summit, four types of awards will be presented to outstanding entrepreneurs across Myanmar.
