Int’l Exhibition: Construction, Power And Mining
The 4th International Exhibition of Construction, Power and Mining, organized by the Bangkok Exhibition Services in corporation with Myanmar Trade Fair Management took place in Yangon, Thursday.
190 exhibitors from 21 countries participate in the 3-day Exhibition and 5 international pavilions are also exhibited at the event with new technology and innovation.
President, MCEA (Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association), Tha Htay: As the U.S. sanction has been lifted, Myanmar economy is now on the way to get proper benefits from foreign investors. But, our country needs the innovative technology and services as well as new ideas and information resources, which can be obtained only from the construction, power and mining projects of the developed countries.
The Organizer said Myanmar is now entering into a new era, this kind of event hopes to support the economic growth of Myanmar in future.
Organizer , BES Limited , Justin Pau: “Myanmar unfortunately lacks enough stable power, big constructions need to be implemented; mining is such a strong industry, such a strong financial contributor for the country as well. All of these 3 industries are in need of upgrading, modernization and development which will support short medium and long-term future.”
The exhibition will support local and foreign entrepreneurs to connect distribution networks for mining and electrical power sectors.
Exhibitor, Erlau (UK) Tyre Protecting Chains, Greg Siese: “Basically in mineral winding operations when you have tractors mining which involves numeric rubber tires, you need to protect the tires using a chain that ensures the running cost of your fleet is reduced by using tire protecting chains to protect the tire.”
Exhibitor, Young In (Korea), IL DONG KIM: “Over there, very new, most beautiful product, the fault automation system. It means if there is a fault on power line, there are power interruptions. If it go on for long time, it is very difficult and unhappy hour for customer. So this system can quickly find out where the fault.”
According to the organizer, seminars on “Sustainability in Construction” and “The international Mining Myanmar Conference “will also include in the exhibition that will run until Saturday.
