Myanmar Skills Competition : NSSA Technical Office Will Organize

Myanmar Skills Competition 2016, organized by NSSA Technical office in Myanmar will be held in Yangon next month. 85 competitors will take part in this event. The competition is aimed to know widely the skill employments in Myanmar, technical and vocational tasks among the public and to have opportunities for young people to participate in the ASEAN level competitions.   

Director ,Skills Development Division (NSSA Technical office) ,Kyaw Kyaw Lwin : "We will choose the persons who are expert in their job fields from 12 skill areas. The wining persons will have a chance to compete in 11th ASEAN Skills Competition 2016 that will held in Malaysia". 

This is the second edition and it will be held under 12 categories depending on the vocational tasks.  

Principal ,AKI School of Engineering ,Aye Min Min : "This event is target for young people to train their careers. There has a limitation that the competitors are not older than 21 years exception of welding. We have prepared for this event since last 6 months. We will train the winners for ASC 2016 competition that will be held in Malaysia in September".

Myanmar skill competition will be held from 14th to 20th of March at the Central Construction School in Thuwunna and it is estimated to cost 100 million kyats, according to the organizer.
