Personal Branding: Impact On Career

Dr. Jane Horan, an expert in cross cultural leadership and career transitions, presented about the personal branding at the seminar held in Yangon on Thursday. 

Jane Horan is an internationally recognized speaker and author as well as career coaches globally. And she is also the founder of The Horan Group, helping organizations build inclusive workplaces and working with individuals on career transition.

She aims to share about the value of a brand among women professionals in the country, through the seminar entitled “The Art of Personal Branding”.

Speaker, Jane Horan: “…actually top---around about 20years really important to understand - who you are and your values and tell about your story and has it an impact women professionally so we strong be able to tell our story based on the value, impact we had on the company....So, I wanna talk about the art of career navigation which some of links to the brand but actually help women think about what is that I wanna do, and then what you know how do you navigate your career.”

Professional Women’s Network from British Chamber of Commerce organized the seminar, with the hope to help improve the quality of life and businesses among the local entrepreneurs.  

Coach, Professional Women Network, Catherine A Smith: “I think one thing that can change very quickly is women …. we want to focus on not just talking but actually improving skills for ladies so that they learn things that they can putting to actions straight away in the businesses and help improve the quality of life and businesses.” 

About 100 audiences of senior-level management attended the event.
