Rehabilitation: Relief Items Provided For Victims Of Tachileik Fire

Relief items are provided for the victims of Tachileik fire on April 9. 

Myanmar Red Cross Society and Rescue and Resettlement Department and well-wishers provided clothes and household utensils for fire victims on Sunday.

Fire on April 9 engulfed 29 houses in Makar Hokham Ward, and the victims are accommodated at the temporary camp opened at Maha Muni Monastery.

Local battalion and Development Affairs Department are carrying out the clearing tasks at the fire raged area. 

The local Health Department and Red Cross members are also providing health care services to the victims. 

Arrangements for issuance of NRC cards are also underway by the Immigration and National Immigration Department.
