Suzuki Cup: Myanmar Vs Thailand
Myanmar will host Thailand in the second semi-final first leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup in Yangon this evening.
This is the first time Myanmar reached to semi-final over a decade since 2004. The hope of home crowd is also high, and all tickets have been sold out for the match since yesterday morning. The semi-final match will broadcast live from MRTV, MRTV-4. LED screen will also display in front of Maha Bandhula park in Yangon and Manaw Raman Park in Mandalay.
Myanmar Head Coach Gerd Zeise said during the press that Thailand is the best team in Southeast Asian, and added that his team will try their best whatever result comes out.
Myanmar played in group (B), and beat Cambodia and Malaysia, but couldn’t defeat Vietnam. In Group (A), Thailand won the all the matches.
The two teams have to play the second leg of semi-final on December 8th at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
In other match, Indonesia bet Vietnam in their first leg, and will play again in Hanoi on December 7th.
