US pilot detained with 9.8 kilos of cocaine in Peru

A US pilot was detained in a Peruvian airport for attempting to carry 9.8 kilogrammes of cocaine hidden in his luggage on a flight to Brazil. He said the contents of the luggage didn't belong to him, while the suitcases did. Kenneth Edwin Parrock, was arrested in Jorge Chavez airport in Callao to the west of the capital, before he was set to pilot a TAM flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil, route to Asia. The police confirmed they had confiscated six aluminium bags filled with cocaine and hidden in sheets in the pilot's luggage. When questioned by police, according to Parrock the two bags in question belonged to him, but that materials found inside the second bag did not.
