Test Sturgeon Farming: Eggs Can Earn 3800 USD/Kg

Test farming of sturgeon is being made in Moe Bye dam in Phe Khone, Shan State by Pale Nadi company aiming to export their eggs.  This is the first trial farming in Myanmar and there are more than 700 sturgeons. Since the project has been started in 2011 and they are now 5 years and 2 months old, only 8 months to spawn. As 1 kg of their egg can earn 3800 USD, Myanmar will earn more foreign income if sturgeon farming is successful in the country.
