Two dead, 3 injured in northwest China landslide

Two people are dead and three others injured after a landslide buried two buildings in northwest China's Gansu Province on Sunday. The landslide occurred in Longnan City of Wudu District, according to the local government. Rescuers pulled 5 people from the debris of one building as the search efforts ended on Sunday evening. No one was living in the other building, according to reports. Two of the five, a 75-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, later died in hospital. The other three, including a five-year-old boy, are receiving treatment in hospital. Two of them are in serious conditions. The cause of the landslide is being investigated.
