Border Bazaar : Mingalar Muse Market Opened

Mingalar Muse market was opened, yesterday. The market is located in the Muse central economic zone of Shan State (North) and a joint venture between Shan State Government regional development committee and New Star Light Construction Company Ltd,. Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Daw Su Su Hlaing, wife of Vice President Dr. Sai Mauk Kham, Daw Nan Shwe Hmone, and the wife Shan State Chief Minister Daw Phyu Pnyu Nyunt officially opened the market. Muse Central Economic Zone is established to help in poverty reduction, to increase trade volume, to attract more foreign income and create jobs for the locals. It is the 2nd of its kind in Myanmar and aims to start the country’s central trade center between Myanmar and China border. As a commemoration of the opening ceremony, the products of Myanmar and China will be sold from January 19th to 21st. The entertainment programs by famous artists and ethnic traditional dances will be included as well. The shops will be sold with the hire purchase system with the cooperation of AYA Banks.
