Dhamma School: 4th Anniversary Marked
The 4th year anniversary of the Dhamma School Foundation was observed at MCC in Yangon, Sunday.
Dhamma School Foundation was founded in 2012 to bring Buddhist teachings, good morals and manners to the younger generation.
At present, over 500,000 students attended Dhamma schools across the country in over 5,000 institutions.
Chairman, Dhamma School Foundation, Ven-Sasanavara: The curriculum is divided in three levels and considered as Buddhist Ethical Education. Myanmar culture and customs are based on the teachings of Buddha which guide children to a moral approach in daily life.
By teaching Jatakas, history, culture of Buddha and Buddhist scripture, the children are believed to have become more polite.
