VP elect says will reform healthcare for veterans

Vice President-elect Mike Pence joined the members of the Indiana National Guard and Indiana Veterans Affairs Department for a Veteran's Day ceremony in Edinburgh in Indiana on Friday, and gave an address. U.S. VICE PRESIDENT ELECT, MIKE PENCE .. "That our new President-elect and his new Vice president-elect are absolutely committed to reforming the Veterans Affairs Health Administration so that we provide our veterans real time world class health care that they have earned. And is there a right for having served in uniform." 

Earlier on Friday, Trump removed New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as leader of his transition team, handing the reins over to Pence, a former U.S. lawmaker with deep Washington ties. Trump aides have begun weighing candidates for some of the 4,000 jobs he will have to fill shortly after he takes office on Jan. 20, 2017.
